PMPRB guidelines delayed until July 1st, 2021

Our community has been working all year to fight the new PMPRB guidelines. Fundamentally, they create a huge roadblock for any precision medicine to come to Canada. We have recently heard that the changes that were scheduled to come into effect in just a couple of days (January 1st, 2021) have been delayed yet again until July 1st, 2021. This is not the first time these changes have been delayed.

We have raised our voices in every sphere: from the media, to the political arena, within our own communities and everywhere in between. We GOT LOUD and it is working.

The battle is not over, regardless of whether Trikafta was submitted under the proposed changes, they will affect access to life saving medicine into the future.
